Again, we return, we sit, we rise, we fall, we find, we tell, we love, we are revolted, we critique, we change, we sharpen. For the thousandth time, we execute the same known gestures. We take them apart, we rest, we take solace, we think of stopping, of stillness, of nonaction. Something calls us back once again to show up, to hold down the center, to soften the edges, to move, to create, to act, to return, to dance. Because who are we without all of this?
“I will rise like that… like that: for the thousandth time. Like that I will walk with zero strength. Like that I will wander the ways, in heat and in rain; like that I will love… like that: without solutions” (“Banikar”, Rachel Bluwstein).
