ON THE EDGE
Two women in an empty space investigating tremor through body and voice. They seek to examine survival in an intense physical-mental state. They seek to expose, to touch, to spend a moment in the fleeting, liminal shapes before they clarify and define themselves. Their internal vibration is expressed through continous shaking, inside which they try to draw and map the architecture of change. This is an invitation to observe a ritual, a call to break from the known forms and blur the contours of the self, to be and experience things as they really are.
"Curtain Up" was directed by Itzik Giuli and produced by "Israel Festival". We would like to thank Orly Noa Rbinyan, Tamar Lamm, Idan Shimoni & Miki Avni for joining our new journey of body shake research.
