I Leaned On You

20 years separate us. Samdar is a psychotherapist, Anat is a dancer. When Samdar was a soldier, Anat was not yet born. Today, the gap has narrowed, and we can exist in it together.
"I looked at you and saw myself in you. You help me slow down my inner rhythm, channel it not only by bursting out, but also gently inward... I allowed myself to be here and now in my body and not in what needs to be done. I leaned on you." (from conversations in the rehearsal room)

"I leaned on you" premiered as part of a retrospective event: Galit Liss - 15 years of work and creation on behalf of the Israel Dance Research Association, in collaboration with the Israel Dance Archive at Beit Ariela and the Inbal Dance Theater - a multidisciplinary ethnic center, and with the support of the Lottery Council for Culture and Art, Tel Aviv Municipality - Department Arts in the Culture and Arts Department, and Galit Lis.
